UNIVERSITY GUIDANCE SERVICE
The University Guidance Service is provided by the Anglophone Section to help students make informed choices about further and higher education, and their future careers.
Key features of the service include:

-
A dedicated and experienced University Guidance adviser, who is also a teacher in the Anglophone Section. Our UG adviser helps students to navigate their academic journey by providing personalised advice on course selection, career options, and helping them to deliver high quality applications.
-
A series of University Guidance presentations through the year, which provide invaluable information for both parents and students, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate the complexities of higher education. These sessions cover essential topics such as choosing a course / subject / institution, information about deadlines and the application process. Throughout, we aim to empower our students to make informed decisions, ultimately paving the way for a successful transition to university life.
-
Access to Unifrog: an online platform that enables students to explore thousands of English-language courses offered at institutions across the world. It also offers information on career choices and cross-references them with the universities that offer relevant courses.

Each year the CSI Lyon organises an "Alumni Meeting" where former students are invited to give a presentation on the study and career paths they have followed since leaving CSI Lyon. The Anglophone Section itself also has an expanding network of alumni around the world, many of whom are happy to share their experience directly with current students.

PARENTS: you can find out more about the University Guidance service by logging onto the Community Online Resources.
Where do they go and what do they do?

Many of our students move onto universities in English-speaking countries, particularly the United Kingdom, Ireland and North America, or to European countries where English-taught courses are widely available, such as the Netherlands. The map below shows where our former students have chosen to study, across the world.
