On Monday 16th January a large group of students (1ère and 2nde) and parents gathered in the salle des conferences at the CSI Lyon to learn about university studies in Canada. Representatives from three universities visited to make a joint presentation, talk to students and inspire us with all the great reasons to choose Canada as a post-bac destination!
The universities present on the day were Concordia University in Montréal, plus two smaller universities based elsewhere in Quebec: Bishops University and the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. Each presenter talked about their own institution as well as providing general information about applying to study in Canada, funding and fees, immigration and visas, and many other topics.
Upcoming events: 1ère students and parents are reminded that University Guidance presentations will be held online on 22nd February and the 1st March, outlining the process for applying to university in the US & Canada, the Netherlands and the UK. Further information and a registration form will be sent in due course.
