CURRENT VACANCIES

Secondary Teacher, part-time / temporary position, starting in August 2024

We are currently seeking to recruit â€‹part-time secondary teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will teach Language and Literature and potentially History / Geography depending on their profile. 

 

The position would involve a temporary contract (CDD) to cover a paternity leave, a maternity leave and potentially the reduction in working hours of another member of staff. The breakdown of the hours is as follows:

 

Dates: 28/08/24 to 20/09/24 

16 hrs per week of Language & Literature lessons in 6eme / 5eme / 4eme / 2nde 

4 hours per week of History & Geography lessons in 3eme and 2nde.

 

Dates: 30/09/24 to 28/01/25

12,5 hours per week of Language & Literature lessons in 3eme / 2nde / 1ere 

4 hours per week of History & Geography lessons in 3eme and 2nde.

 

The successful applicant will be placed upon the internal pay scale according to the level of their qualifications and experience. 

 

Applicants should:

  • have a relevant first degree and teaching qualification diploma; 

  • have a minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience in an English-speaking country and/or international educational setting school preferably with Primary classes or equivalent experience;

  • have the necessary documentation to legally work in France; and

  • be a native-level English speaker.
