Banque alimentaireDecember 1st is World Aids Day and students in the Lycée will be selling pancakes and cakes for the Sidaction charity this week. Also this week, students in the Collège will be collecting for Banque Alimentaire (non-perishable items such as pasta, rice, tins, chocolate, flour, sugar, etc.) . If you would like to contribute, please remind your children to take in some money / donate some food for these worthwhile causes.

Giant Tree – 8th December

Lego treeThe Primary school will welcome the Giant Tree from Monday 8th December. Appropriately, the 8th is also the Fête des Lumières in Lyon, so a great time to switch on the tree lights! A big thanks to Intersec for organising and purchasing the tree.

Winter Concert – 11th December

A concertino and winter concert organised by Mr. Brassac, music teacher at the CSI. Held in the Salle des Conférences from 6pm on Thursday 11th December. Drinks available after the concert, courtesy of Intersec.


APESA Welcome Committee Christmas Lunch – 12th December

APESA pot luckThe APESA Welcome Committee invites you to their Christmas lunch at 12.30pm in the home of Lisa-Marie Bouzigues. If you would like to join us, please let Lisa-Marie know what you would like to bring.


Winter Market – 16th December

Christmas marketThe school’s inaugural Winter Market will be held in the CSI’s main street from 11am-2pm.

There will be many stalls selling seasonal gifts and goodies. Come along and partake in some mulled wine!

It’s not too late if you would like to have your own stall. Please contact csi.intersec@gmail.com for more details. Parents, teachers, students will have stalls.


Eurovision – 19th December

Eurovision logoThere will be a Eurovision de la chanson for college students on the last day of term. Salles des Conférences.


Don’t forget that the last day of term is Friday 19th December. School starts again on Monday 5th January 2015.
